The trace minerals in BioPure Matrix Minerals have become increasingly rare in our foods, but are available thanks to deposits far under the surface of the earth in prehistoric freshwater lake beds that have been composting and compressing for those many years.
Ancient freshwater lake beds with their accumulation of decayed organic material are the source for Humates, which confer fulvic and humic acids. Fulvic and humic acids content varies from deposit to deposit similar to the way minerals are found in the vein.
