Boswellia serrata or Frankincense is a plant primarily known for its use during religious ceremonies. It has since been relatively forgotten until the 20th century where it reemerged as a medicine prescribed by both herbalists and physicians for pain indications.

Biosomo Boswellia is characterized by a high content of AKBA (acetyl-11-keto-boswellic acid). One daily portion contains 20 mg of highly concentrated acetyl-11-keto-boswellic acid.
